Andrea stands as the sole artisan behind Lavender Beads. Based in the beautiful San Juan Islands, nestled in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, she has been developing her torchwork methods for over 25 years. Fusing her passions for glasswork and lavender, she is inspired by the many unique varieties growing at the local organic farm where she has been employed for the past two decades developing value-added products from lavender flowers and essential oil. Andrea spends her days in her jewelry studio, crafting intricate, botanically accurate lavender blooms out of glass. Inspired by the varieties of the beloved local farm, she works to capture the essence of the form of the plant, from the first budding stage to full bloom. From there, she uses sterling silver findings and Swarovski Crystals to add glimmering final touches to pendants, bracelets, and earrings. Her bestselling gender-neutral Aromatherapy Bracelets use porous lava stones to soak up lavender essential oil, so you can carry the sweet herbal smell with you wherever you go.
