"I’m Christine, a recovering corporate techie (15+ years!) turned jeweler. I won’t bore you with the details of my past life, except to tell you that I am really, truly grateful for the path I’m on now. I’m a lover of all things handmade and it’s a dream to spend my days forging metal. Silver + Salt is my life’s passion. When I created Silver + Salt, I wanted to offer simple, classic jewelry designed for everyday wear. Each piece is hand-crafted in Seattle, WA using sterling silver, gold, and semi-precious stones. We use recycled metals and conflict-free, ethically sourced gemstones. I delight in working with out-of-the-limelight (yet still spectacular!) gemstones, which lend themselves to beautiful, affordable pieces. When I’m not in the studio, I spend time with my husband, son, sheepadoodle, 3 bunnies and 4 chickens. One day, I want to retire on a farm in the middle of Scotland, where I’ll still craft beautiful things, but with an even better view. It never hurts to keep dreaming, right?" - Christine (Jeweler)
